Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Warrant Search
Lancaster County arrest warrants are public pursuant to Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure 513. However, the affiant (i.e., the person who requests the warrant) may request that public dissemination of an arrest warrant be delayed for up to 72 hours after its issuance under Rule 513(C). They may also file a motion to seal the warrant under Rule 513.1. Meanwhile, search warrants and their supporting affidavit are made public only after their execution per Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure 212.
Record seekers may search for Lancaster County warrants through the County Sheriff’s Warrant Portal or Wanted Persons lists. Alternatively, they may use the statewide warrants function of the Pennsylvania Judiciary Web Portal. Interested persons may also visit local courthouses to make in-person inquiries about warrants issued by the court at its clerk’s office.
